SMILE! You’re In Great Hands with Dental Wellness of Charlotte
We have invested countless hours into the design of the dental office infrastructure and equipment in order to improve the safety of our clients and team during these unprecedented times. The dental office is equipped with negative airflow rooms that minimize air cross-contamination. Air in the dental office goes through series of “cleaning “ methods on the system-wide level with bipolar ionization and UV light. To combat contaminated aerosol during dental procedures, we have invested in Safe-T Shield technology that removes and disinfects particles escaping from the patient mouth during treatment using HEPA filtration, which is even more effective than the N95 mask. We are the second dental office in the United States build like this.
What Makes Us Different
We believe in making the experience comfortable, even enjoyable, from start to finish
We respect the time of our clients, expediting the process with online reservations, virtual consultations, and 3D impressions
We're an environmentally-friendly dental office, working to reduce our carbon footprint with our technologies and procedures.
What Sets Us Apart
Modernity Meets Dental
Dental Wellness of Charlotte is a completely digital dental office. Digital dentistry ensures our patients receive the safest and most convenient care possible. Digital documents allow for contactless check-in, digital patient forms, online payment processing, and digital dental records. Digital dental health records ensure that your dental provider has the most up-to-date information on your dental needs. No more sifting through years of paperwork, all details can be found directly in our patient’s digital dental record.
Negative Airflow Rooms
We have negative airflow rooms where air is cleaned by HEPA 14 filters and disinfected by UV light combined with plasma ionization. This system was specially engineered by Design Ergonomics. All of the negative airflow components are in the ductwork located in our ceiling so the rooms remain quiet, comfortable, and safe. The air that is pumped out of the space passes through a series of HEPA 14 filters, which gives the degree of filtration as an N95 mask. Dental Wellness of Charlotte offers negative airflow rooms in all patient care areas. This ensures the safest care possible for our patients and the dental team.
Dental Wellness of Charlotte is the ONLY dental office in North Carolina to utilize Safe-T-Shield technology. Additionally, our dental office was the SECOND DENTAL OFFICE NATIONWIDE to include Safe-T-Shield for our patients. By creating a broad negative pressure zone directly above the oral cavity, the Safe-T-Shield provides more powerful evacuation of patient exhalation than single point oral suction devices. The Shield also provides an absolute barrier to droplet and bioburden ejection while still allowing comfortable access to the treatment zone. We believe a track-mounted Safe-T-Shield will become the installed “Standard of Care” of the future.
Teledentistry can improve your access to dental care. It allows our dentists to meet in real-time with patients who have oral health needs. Teledentistry eliminates travel time, reduces transportation costs, and minimizes time away from work or school. You can have your consultation from the comfort of your own home or dental office with follow-up care at the dental office.

Dental Wellness of Charlotte offers a state-of-the-art 3D imaging system that replaces taking impressions of teeth. This innovative new technology uses NO harmful radiation and can be done at each visit so that we have a thorough picture of your overall preventative and restorative dental care plan and progress.
